Low Cost French Press Coffee Makers

Low Cost French Press Coffee Makers: Guest post by Robert Murphy
There are so many French press coffee makers in the market today, and at times it might be difficult for anyone
to find the right one they require.

As a matter of fact, it was rather difficult for me to find the perfect one that would satisfy all my coffee
making requirements.
It took me quite some time to go through a lot of customer reviews, do some widow shopping and by the time I was
ready to buy my coffee maker, I felt quite a relief. I never knew the buying process could be that difficult.
However, I was grateful too since in the process, I managed to get the best French press coffee maker at a very
affordable price. When I consider the fact that a lot of quality coffee makers are usually priced way over the
roof, I can say I was rather glad I got the French press coffee maker at such low cost, who wouldn’t?
While using my coffee maker, I try as much as possible to avoid having scalded coffee because it never tastes
great. One of the best ways of doing this is usually to make sure that each time I am ready to brew my coffee I
boil my water beforehand and then I grind my coffee beans after that.
The reason as to why I usually do this is to make sure that the water gets ample time to cool down to a
temperature that is just perfect for the brewing process; not too hot, neither too cold. As a matter of fact, I
make sure that I boil the water separately to around 190 degrees in an electric kettle.
There is also another alternative that I learnt, warming up the glass in the coffee maker preemptively.
This also keeps the coffee warm enough while it is in the coffee maker.
