POST PRODUCTION COURSES
The Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) is committed to improving the quality of coffee in production regions, thus increasing the market value and price of coffee, and gradually improving the lives of coffee farmers.
The CQI Specialty Coffee Appraiser's certification system has gained a superb reputation in the global coffee industry chain. In 2017, the post-production skills certificate course was launched, where the techniques of coffee post-harvest processing are evaluated through both scientific theory and practice.
CQI POST PROCESSING COURSE - THE GENERALIST (LEVEL 1)
This course is designed for beginners in coffee post-production at the consumer end of the industrial chain. They learn more about the terms used in post-processing, the rules of machine operation, comparisons of coffee fruit ripeness and basic biological principles, and the many challenges in fermentation consistency and safety.
CQI POST PROCESSING COURSE - PROFESSIONAL (LEVEL 2)
This course is developed for professionals with solid experience in harvesting and post production. Scientific analysis is used to lay out the optimal post-production process and to determine how to use different fermentation methods to deliver different flavors, lower risk, and significantly improve product yield.
FIELD MANAGEMENT COURSE
In recent years, the R&D department at CH Biotech has collaborated with domestic coffee estate farmers to break through coffee production obstacles and resolve natural issues. The researchers have gradually improved coffee quality at different altitudes around Taiwan through their high-yield technology and precise data. This has raised Taiwanese coffee to the international level, and has made Taiwan a major coffee center with attention from around the world.
